Foods to avoid: 1) greasy foods, 2). Spicy foods, 3). Dark sodas or caffeinated drinks, 4). Orange juice -- too acidic, 5). All products with caffeine- like chocolates etc, 6). Ibuprofen/ motrin/ advil ---- tylenol (acetaminophen) or Acetaminophen is ok to take. In general-- soups are good for stomach. Healthy eating habits like nuts, fruits, vegetables, meats-- cooked via boiling or baking or grilling is good.

Fatty & spicy : If you have received irradiation therapy for h-pylori already and you don't have symptoms any more, it's ok to a normal healthy diet. But if you have symptoms of gastritis and still under therapy avoid fatty and spicy food as they might worsen your symptoms.
