Clarify: This is a statement, or i'm unclear if you are asking a question. C dif can happen in young children, needs to be treated, then retested to confirm clearance, and you should remain aware for recurrence later on, try not to take any unnecessary antibiotics.

C diff needs Rx.: C diff can exist in our digestive tracts quietly, but sometimes overgrows & causes problems like bloody diarrhea. If so, your childs doctor can treat the c diff infection with certain antibiotics. Your doctor can also suggest a specific probiotic preparation to help get the digestive tract back to normal--& keep it that way!only using antibiotics for bacterial infections decreases risk of c diff.
