I have just been told by a sonographer that i'm am 9 weeks and 2 days pregnant, but exactly 9 week and 2 days ago i miscarried. how is this possible?

Its not: What makes you think you miscarried? Some bleeding early in pregnancy may not be a miscarriage. If the sonogram showed you to be pregnant and at 9 weeks fetal cardiac activity should be visible, you are still pregnant.
