I'm supposed to be about 5 and a half weeks pregnant. two days ago my hcg levels were 11876 and today they were 12316. the dr seemed to be concerned. i miscarried in february. should i be concerned?

Yes: This is not a normal increase, but it is premature to draw any conclusions. An ultrasound may not show anything helpful but could be useful. Otherwise, repeat the HCG in another 2 days, perhaps along with a progesterone level. Good luck.

HCG: The level is still acceptable for 5 1/2 weeks and it doesn't always follow a pattern, although expected to double every 3 days in early pregnancy. Your level should be repeated again 3 days after your last level and an ultrasound would be helpful. All the best and I hope for a healthy pregnancy for you.
