Spotting & Pregnancy: It is always possible that you are pregnant. A good home pregnancy test will be positive as early as the time of what should have been the first missed period, which, in your case may have been represented by the week of bleeding and spotting, which does happen sometimes instead of "missing" your period. It is also possible that the bleeding represented an early miscarriage.
