A member asked:

Is it possible to have huntington's disease and alzheimer's disease at the same time?

Interesting: These are 2 different disorders, but do mimick each other. And do look alike under microscope but they are different. One is autosomal dominate and about alzheimers the cause is not clear two and more independant illnesses co exist all the times. Life span of huntington is short, it begins in 3rd decade of life alzheimers begins at a bit later in life.

Unlikely: Some symptoms of alzheimer's disease (myoclonus) may mimic symptoms of huntington's disease.
