A member asked:

How can a huntingtons disease brain differ from a normal brain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

HD brain changes: At first, no differences are visible. Differences develop over years. In Huntingtons disease, the brain tends to become smaller in volume and mass. Particular areas are affected more than others. These include the caudate, putamen and in general, basal ganglia structures.
