When caring for someone with alzheimer's disease, what could be done to reduce the paranoia/anxiety?

Structure routine: Maintaining regular routings, staying calm yourself, having things such as large clocks and calanders to maintain orientation, keeping things in regular places, plenty of light are some basics. A list of resources for caregivers was compiled by a national group of neuropsychologists: http://cpancf.Com/pdf/dementia%20resources%20for%20caregivers.Pdf.

Relaxation: Try not to disagree with the person, just distract by an activity. If it is not effective, the person might need a medication to stop paranoid delusions.
