Not that I am : Familiar with. If the fibroids are not causing heavy bleeding or pain, live them alone. Otherwise, there are non surgical options like uterine artery embolization which ccuts off the blood supply to the fibroids and causes them to shrink. There is also a procedure using focus ultrasound to treat fibroids.. This is being done at several centers in the us with mayo being a leading one.
