Recover emotionally: It will be tough. Many folks you know will do well during and after the hurricane but many will not. Fortunately the likelihood of a hurricane in Chicago is quite limited!

Natural disasters: can have devastating effects emotionally, spiritually, financially and physically. We were hit by Ivan and Katrina & they rocked us to our core. Allow yourself to grieve your losses. Express your emotions. Find a support system. This type of event can sometimes bring communities together. Consider seeing spiritual adviser. If you get emotionally stuck - consider working with a therapist.
