Expectorants: Try Mucinex (guaifenesin) as an expectorant or tea with lemon. If the phlegm is behind your soft palate, you may do better by rinsing out your nose with saline solution. Use a neil-med sinus rinse bottle or netty pot with warm saline solution. Regularly.
