Globus: Globus (lump sensation) which persists should be evaluated by an otolaryngologist with a small in office flexible fiberoptic laryngoscopy (small scope). There are multiple causes including: allergies, reflux, cysts, tumors, neurologic causes, external (thyroid) compression. The treatment will be contingent on the diagnosis.
