Extreme caution: Taking tramadol together with Ambien (zolpidem) cr is not recommended as this increases the risk of CNS depression/respiratory depression. If you must take this combination then reduce the dose of Ambien (zolpidem) by one half. See your doctor for proper evaluation and review of your therapy. Please avoid alcohol while on these medications. Take care of yourself.
