Here we go...: The bridge will prevent #11 and #14 from moving. I understand the gum is lower at #12 and #13. A visit to a periodontist may create options for you to build up the gum there. If you do not replace #12 and #13, and you place crowns on #11 and #14, those teeth can move towards #12 and #13. Another options is dental implants for #12 and #13. Again, a periodontist may have options for you.

Bridge splints: The bridge splints them together - they are connected. This will hold them in position. If just the crowns are done, then they can move in towards the space over time.
