Low back pain: R u sitting in chair properly, or slouched? Is the chair comfortable, or old & saggy? R u overweight? Pain may be due to muscle spasm from sitting in same position too long/ wrong position/lack of proper support by chair /lifting improperly earlier in the day. Moist heat & NSAID should help as will correcting causes. Other conditions can cause referred pain to back. See fp if no improvement.
