Discuss with doctor: Bright red blood is certainly of concern. Despite the normal ct, concern would be raised as to what is near the drain and it is up against an area of potential bleeding. After 3 weeks, consideration as to removing the drain should be given.

Many sources: It could be serious bleeding from the connection of the blood vessels or it could be minor muscle or soft tissue bleeding. Make sure your coordinator and surgeon assess you.
