30 years ago had hematuria burning-diag i.c. then 2.5 years ago had gross hematuria and had ct immediately & cysto normal. recently burning then saw blood put on cipro cysto today showed redness throughout will biopsy next week concerning? nervous

Specialist: It appears to be interstitial cystitis if infection, stones, etc are ruled out. I recommend consulting a urologist with special interest in interstitial cystitis as this is often a difficult problem to treat and there a very many treatment options available. Also, if possible, try to think of any triggers like stress, certain foods or beverages.
