Wheat allergy: Allergy to wheat flour can lead to sneezing and even asthma called 'baker's asthma'. Nasal symptoms may preceed asthma symptoms. Allergens in the wheat causing sensitization could be thioredoxin hb (tri a25) or wheat gliadin. An allergist can test for wheat allergy to separate it from irritant. Avoidance is the best treatment which means wearing a very good mask when working with the flour.
