No: You may have an infection spreading down in a fascial plane so the safest plan would be to note any elevated temps and get back to the treating dentist for an assessment. He may put you on an antibiotic but it could be unrelated to the extraction as well. Get it evaluated!

Sore neck: If the sore neck is consistent with the side where you had the molar extracted i would visit the health care provider for a follow up exam just to confirm that you are not experiencing a secondary infection.

Possible: It depends on the reason for the extraction. If you had a pre existing infection and that invaded the soft tissue of your neck it may take time to be resolved. You should visit the doctor that removed the tooth. An antibiotic may be prescribed.
