2different bugs: There may be no relationship between her strep throats and her urinary strep. The organism that usually causes a UTI is a contaminant that comes from the stool., whereas the strep that causes strep throat is respiratory in nature.

Strep urine/throat: Strep in urine and throat are different strains usuallly. But ur pediatrican should ahve a work up on ur daughter for getting a uti. How old is ur daughter?
