Not recommended: Regardless of blood pressure, the best way to lose weight is with diet and exercise. Using a stimulant, whether coffee or something stronger, is a shortcut that may speed early weight loss but usually ends with the patient regaining the weight. Stimulants may make high blood pressure worse, although coffee is not usually a culprit. It's just not a reliable, safe or effective way to lose weight.

Be Careful: Green coffee appears to be safe based on the limited research that has been done so far (no serious side effects were reported). However, it is important to note that green coffee contains caffeine, similar to regular coffee. Therefore, green coffee can cause caffeine-related side effects similar to coffee (including elevation in blood pressure).
