NO: Sometimes the pathologists diagnosing the tissue require consultations that maytake weeks. Straight forward diagnosis takes less time.

Not necessarily : The pathologist reads all slides from a certain date of service in the order that they are processed. However, there are times that the pathologist will call the dermatologist before the report is rendered but conversely , there are times that more serious diagnoses require consultation or further studies that can hold up the diagnostic process.
