A member asked:

Can seritonin syndrome cause increased blood sugar levels? if so, what happens to the body to make this happen?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Serotonin and sugar: Serotonin syndrome is a very serious condition, usually caused by combinations of meds. People with this are often very sick, and may need hospitalization. Elevated glucose is not usually a part of it, but if you were prediabetic, the stress of this syndrome could push up your glucose.
