Under investigation: I've heard little since 2011 but it's true that hi levels played a role in suppressing bone growth. There was a NYTimes piece: http://www.nytimes.com/2008/11/27/health/research/27bone.html and http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2940494/ Other systems ae involved too. It's not candy!
