See below: Always give meds an hour to work than treat accordingly. Where did you get Demerol (meperidine hydrochloride) from. I home you are only on prescribed meds.

It depends: It all depends on the dose. You may take hydrocodone right away if Demerol (meperidine hydrochloride) does not help at all. Don't take Demerol (meperidine hydrochloride) any more. It is worst analgesic. Again, be sure you breathe fine.
