Morphine: There is a greater risk when you take or get any medication IV. You had it. The Hydrocodone and the Percocet are oral and at much lower doses. Demerol (meperidine hydrochloride) is not recommended oral and is usually used IV. While there is a risk it is small, it does increase if you use alcohol or other sedatives.
