I have a long hair plus headlice. if i cut my hair, will headlice get off?

No: One would have to cut her hair super super short in order to easily prevent lice, by easily seeing lice and nits (and thus getting rid of them). If one can find and remove all the nits (the eggs), then it doesn't matter how long the hair is.
