HEAD LICE SHAMPOO: See your pcp who can prescribe head lice shampoo.It takes longer to get rid of nits even though lice are killed by shampoo because they are firmly attached to hair shaft.

Hair lice: Hair lice are smart too! some shampoos that are availbale dont work as they are resistant to these.I have tried novel idea. Has worked on my patients. Try slapping on lot of petroleum jelly inthe hair overnight&sleep with showercap. In the morning hop in a warm shower &wash shampoo the hair few time.Lice die from suffocation& nits r loosened& easy to comb off.No sideeffects.
