Swelling: A tooth infection can travel to various parts of the head and neck region. Depending on the tooth or teeth involved, an infection that has spread would begin to show advanced swelling of the jaw, cheek, eyelid, or chin area. You would likely have increased pain, redness (erythema), fever, warmth to touch of the area involved, and possible exudate. If you suspect this is happening, see ur doc asap.

A few signs..: A spreading infection will cause your immune system to kick into high gear... Swelling, warmth to the touch, and increasing pain are some signs. A general feeling of weakness can also indicate systemic spread. Since you know you have a tooth that needs attention, why wait? Things will only get worse really fast. Seek care immediately and feel better soon..
