Yes: The more difficult the extraction, the more swelling you will have. Cond compresses after extraction help decrease post op swelling. Antibiotics are preventative for infection prevention.

Yes. : Your infection could be spreading and your antibiotic may not be effective. See the dentist asap or go to er.
