Age and health?: Right now, with flu prevalent, i would not recommend a newborn be around those without a fle vaccine. It is best for those who are routinely around the infant, particularly until the baby receives those first 3 sets of baby vaccines to have their tdap as well, as pertussis is sure making a comeback. If the baby is past 6 months and immunized, it is not as much of a big deal, but still recommended.
