Yes it is..: Flu vaccination is indeed recommended for virtually everyone age 6-months and older, ulness specific contraindication such as severe egg allergies. Like all meds/injections, they carry risk, but the risk from flu vaccine is small--injection site soreness, mild flu-like symptoms etc...But the benefit is significant: it saves many lives yearly. Consult doc. Good luck.

Yes.: Yes. Not only is it available, but highly recommended . The first time your baby is immunized, two doses will be required. Only one dose in all subsequent years.
