It may: You are right. It may help but not cure. There is such a thing called 'zoning' adhd patients have a tendency to 'zero in' when they are doing a task that is interesting or something that moves really fast. Video games, for e.g. Problem is, you neglect everything else. Besides, when the music track changes, you may lose attention and move on to something else that grabs your attention.
