Hello i need help to decifer if i have adhd or not. i have trouble listening to my teacher and i constantly shake my leg on the ground. i get nervous quickly and i always fidget with my hands or something close to me. i'd like a psychiatrist to answe?

We won’t be able to answer you definitely on this part of the site as you need more of an evaluation. It does sound like you have some signs/symptoms of ADHD, but I would recommend you contact your doctor for an evaluation. If you still see your pediatrician, they would be quite familiar and able to make a diagnosis and help you with treatment if indicated.

There are several conditions that can mimic many of the features of ADHD. I am leery of anyone labeled ADHD who was not picked up with the condition before the age of 7. Have your doctor evaluate your problem. If no medical issues are found & it is worthy of an ADHD evaluation, they will know someone locally that can do so.
