Not really: "fit" means different things to different people. A lean, muscular smoker may be "more fit" than a non-smoker who is 100 pounds over-weight, but you will never be as "fit" as you could be if you didn't smoke. In addition smoking destroys the health of others around you with second hand smoke. There is no up-side to smoking.

Health limitation.: Smokers can still exercise, eat healthy, sleep well and live a fairly stress-free life. However, smoking will always be at least a limitation to your fitness potential, and at the most smoking will cause you great illness despite your other health efforts.
