Ear infection: There are 2 types of ear infection. An outer ear infection is an an infection involving the ear canal. This is usually treated with ear drops. The ear should be kept dry to allow proper healing. A middle ear infection or otitis media is usually treated with antibiotics. You should see a doctor to get the proper treatment.
