A member asked:

My ear keep squeeking when i swallow. why could this be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Eustacian tube prob: The eustacian tube allows air to go from the mouth or sinuses into the ear so that the pressure behind the ear drum can equilibrate. When the tube gets plugged (ie from a cold, allergies, or sinus congestion) the air has trouble equilbrating and people feel a pop, similar to when they are flying or changing altitude. That is just the pressure difference behind the ear drum.
