I accidentally swallowed a small metal ear cuff, should i be worried? what symptoms should i watch for?

? ear cuff ?: We have a lot of experience with ingestion of foreign objects from the exploration behavior of toddlers. Most will pass through the gut to poop in 3-4 days. If they have a sharp cutting edge or are batteries/magnets they may be a problem. Ingesting a cup or so of stewed cut okra can form a congeal around the object & help it pass with less irritation. Cramping would be the expected symptom.
