Sure there are : Quite a few patients who have noted relief with acupuncture. However, if no improvement seek the advice of your doctor or even check with your doctor prior to seeking this treatment in case there are other issues that may account for your back pain such as a kidney stone or urinary tract infection.

Yes: I treat a number of patients with acupuncture for back pain that did not respond to any other treatment modalities.
