Good idea: For those who have exhausted all traditional methods of pain relief and still have pain, acupuncture is actually a decent alternative. It seems to follow the "gate theory" of pain control. It's not a permanent solution, but it can alleviate much of the pain associated with what you described. It may be wise to go to an experienced acupuncturist for this.

Body structure: Start with low back exercises. Look up Williams flexion exercises on Google and start doing your exercises on a regular basis. If you are overweight, then you need to start losing weight and get back to an ideal body weight. Check and see that your feet have normal arches and normal mechanics. Sometimes back problems come from your feet. Acupuncture certainly is a good possibility but you need to do the other things first.
