Hmm?: Shaving can lead to stubble. Waxing can be painful. Waxing takes longer to grow back. Please don't try to shave or wax your actual vagina ! the hair overlying the mons pubis or hair at junction of leg panty line is usually what is shaved. What is aestheically pleasing is in the eyes of the beholder.
