Can you tell me what a simple ovarian cyst is?

OK: The definition of simple ovarian cyst is in comparison with complex cyst. Simple cyst is diagnosed with ultrasound, you will see a cystic structure in the ovary with echo-lucent (very clear). Very oftern, it is a non-ovulated follicle. It will disappear naturally without treatment. The complex cyst, on the other hand, with echogenic area inside of the cyst, needs further investigation.
