What's the difference between a bad headache and a migraine?

Difference issues: A bad headache is just a bad pain around the head; whereas, migraine is just one type of headache. There are several types of headaches: migraine is a specific type of headache with actual identifying clinical presentations. Its just one of the possible bad headaches. Not all bad headaches responds to migraine treatment. Reason why, some patients go on with headache despite "migr treat.".

Symptoms: Migraines often are accompanied by GI upset, nausea and or vomiting, there can be visual disturbances and often oversensitivity to sound and light, but there are more unusual migraines that can also cause psychiatric symptoms, blindness in part of vision, blood pressure changes etc. Migraines are usually more deblitating and may respond to different types of meds for different people.
