Need effective rx: Many patients need chronic therapy like Nexium (esomeprazole) daily pts often take it when they think they need it . The food is your bodies way of trying to buffer the acid. It doesnt take care of the underlying problem. Untreated or inadequate treatment can lead to a barrets esophagus and possble cancer. Not to mention food can lead to obesity and more relux.
