Maybe: Could be acid reflux. In fact, bronchospasm (asthma) can sometime be caused by acid reflux. You would probably benefit from trial of proton pump inhibitor.

Possibly related: It is possible that the reflux can be so severe that it spills over into the lungs and triggers coughing or an asthma attack. So...it is the indigestion that triggers the asthma, not the reverse. This can certainly lead to anxiety!!! Have you ever had an upper endoscopy to evaluate the indigestions? See your doctor. You may need this done.
