Atopic dermatitis: There are many causes of atopic dermatitis (ad) often called eczema. Food triggers can be involved in up to 40% of cases. If your pediatrician is not comfortable doing a food allergy evaluation, see an allergist. Look for triggers causing the eczema before trying to find medicines to treat the symptoms.
