Painful urination: Blood in the urine is never normal. Urinary frequency, painful urination and a feeling like you're not emptying your bladder are common symptoms of bladder infection. You should see a physician and have a urine culture performed. In the mean time, over-the-counter analgesics may help. Ask your pharmacist to point them out to you.
