Not really...: It's not "normal" but it is a possible complication of the knee replacement surgery. Peripheral nerves heal very slowly, so there is a chance that some or all of the feeling may return with time.

See below: This is not related to the surgery. She may have a peripheral neuropathy, or a spinal cord problem.. See your doctor asap.
