Any motion: Has the potential to increase a ganglions size. The ganglion or cyst is connected to the joint or tendon sheath via either a thin or thick stalk so that fluid form the wrist or tendon lieterally gets pumped into the ganglion with the pressure of movement. Usually it is like a one way valce as pressure on the ganglion does not draon the other way. It makes no difference which way you move usually.
