Acne: Try a low sodium diet since acne bacteria thrive on sodium. Also make sure you keep your hands away from your face and wip eoff your cellphone to avoid spreading germs onto your face. Avoid alcohol on your face, use a cleanser, toner and moisturizer (noncomedogenic) with spf at least 30 daily.

Diet's not the key: I'm sorry you were misled. Acne is basically unrelated to diet. If you were assured that being "vegan" or being "gluten free" would help your acne, perhaps this will help you understand that much of what these people have told you isn't true. If topical benzoyl peroxide hasn't cleared you in two weeks, get with your personal physician for Rx and workup for possible hormonal imbalance.
